The ink-jet UV printer is a better choice for users who want to do customized printing business or reselling. They are at reasonable price tags, print any colors as your designs. While ink-jet printers are generally prone to failures such as unclear printing and clogged printer heads.
If we fail to maintain the printer head well, the printer head may only be replaced. Some prices of the printer head are costly, so when the printer head is blocked, we must deal with it in time.
In order to solve the problem of ink-jet printer nozzle clogging, we have summarized several methods.
Why is the printer head blocked?
First of all, let us know why is the printer head blocked:Because the printer head is not tightly sealed or placed for a long time after normal printing, water evaporates excessively, resulting in the dry ink droplets on the fine printer head, so that the ink can not be sprayed normally; Usually shown as often broken lines, color loss, blurred writing, and other faults.
Ink-jet printer head blockage is roughly divided into two categories of cleaning:
① software cleaning ② manual cleaning
Software cleaning methods:
Software cleaning is the use of printer driver application tools in the print head cleaning function cleaning. Its advantages are simple and fast operation; The disadvantage is that the cleaning effect is not ideal.
Manual cleaning repair method:
a. Soaking method
Scope of application: less obstructed
Essential tools: 95% alcohol, a clean beaker, and a metal container with a flat bottom
Working principle: Use a medium-strength organic solvent to dissolve the ink particles one by one. Note that 95% concentration of organic solvent alcohol must be used, otherwise, it will be counterproductive
Solution: First find a metal container with a flat bottom, add a little 95% organic solvent alcohol to the container, and the alcohol should just cover the stainless steel rim of the printer head (be careful not to let the PCB board come into contact with alcohol)
The soaking time generally ranges from 2 hours to 4 days. The advantage is that it has a good cleaning effect and is not easy to cause physical damage to the printer head; the disadvantage is that it takes a long time and it is not suitable for the urgent needs of users.
b. Pressure washing method
Scope of application: Obstructed wish is heavier
Essential tools: 95% alcohol, clean cups, a disposable injector, a disposable infusion set
Working principle: Use the pressure generated by the siphoning effect of the syringe to inject alcohol, an organic solvent, into the printer head, so as to achieve the function of cleaning the dry printer head
Solution: Use a plastic tube or needle part of a disposable infusion set to make the interface between the syringe and the ink supply port of the print head (the joint must be tight). After the interface is made, place the print head in the 95% organic solvent alcohol, inhale the alcohol through the print head (note that it can only be inhaled) into the syringe needle, and inhale several times
Its advantage is good cleaning effect. Generally, print heads that are heavily clogged can be cleaned by this method. It is worth noting that when inhaling alcohol, you must use even force, coherent back and forth, and generally will not cause physical damage.

1. Freely install and remove the circuit of the printer without turning off the power switch and cutting off the main power supply. This behavior will damage the service life of each system and endanger the nozzles.2. Clean the nozzle vigorously with a high-pressure air gun. If the nozzle is slightly clogged, it is recommended to use a vacuum cleaner to wash out the dust, and then carry out detailed cleaning.
3. Soak the entire nozzle in the cleaning solution. The cleaning fluid is corrosive to a certain extent, so generally only an appropriate amount is taken into the nozzle for cleaning.
4. Inject different batches of ink at will, or use ink or cleaning fluid of poor quality. The mixing of two different configurations of inks will change the color and quality of the ink. The ink with poor quality will affect the printing effect and block the nozzle. The cleaning fluid with poor quality may corrode the nozzle.
5. Use external force to adjust the nozzle position irregularly. Do not use brute force whether to replace or fine-tune the print head. Please treat the print head carefully in accordance with the specifications.
6. Clean the nozzle with self-provided products without quality inspection. The nozzle is very easy to be contaminated and worn, so please use the product designated by the manufacturer and the product that has passed the quality inspection to clean the nozzle.
7. Do not pay attention to protecting the circuit board and other internal systems during cleaning. Please turn off the power when cleaning, and be careful not to let the water hit the circuit board and other internal systems.
8. Leave the cleaning fluid in the nozzle for more than 2 days and 2 nights. Soaking in the cleaning fluid for a long time can remove stains more effectively, but if the time exceeds 48 hours, it will affect the nozzle orifice.
9. Do not pay attention to the safety of grounding equipment. Printer printing is greatly affected by static electricity, so it is necessary to connect the ground wire equipment regularly and sprinkle a little saltwater around the ground wire regularly.
10. Use an ultrasonic cleaning machine for a long time to clean the nozzle. In fact, if you pay attention to the nozzle maintenance, you don't need to perform ultrasonic cleaning at all. Ultrasonic waves can cause adverse effects on the nozzle.
However, if the blockage is severe and ultrasonic cleaning is required, the cleaning time is at most 3 minutes.
If it is not cleaned once, please wait for the nozzle to cool down to a normal state before performing the second cleaning.
How to maintain the printer
1. Please do not use the printer in a dusty place to prevent dust from entering the ink to block the nozzle (if it must be placed in a dusty place, remove the dust after getting off work every day and cover it with a dust cover). Do not put the equipment in the belt Near the equipment with a magnetic field and in the environment containing salt or corrosive gas.
2. The adsorption platform has an even load of 35 kg per square. The adsorption platform cannot stand on the surface. People cannot rub the metal and print on the platform. The ink should be cleaned up in time to prevent damage to the platform.
3. In order to prevent the nozzle from clogging, please turn on the media and print the nozzle status chart. If the nozzle is clogged, please use the machine's built-in cleaning function to clean the nozzle and turn on the white ink circulation to allow the white ink to stir by itself. The white ink characteristic prevents ink precipitation. The main ink cartridge takes one month. Clean it once. 【Long time to check the white ink mixing situation】
4. When the UV printer is working, the temperature should be between 20°C and 28°C to ensure the fluency of the ink. The air conditioner should be installed to ensure a constant temperature. The temperature in the city should be maintained at 40%-80%. If the humidity is not enough, a humidifier should be used for humidification. 5. When printing, if the pictures are mainly spot colors, or when printing only certain two colors, please clean the nozzles within 1-2 hours to ensure that the nozzles are wet. When printing large pictures, add color bars on both sides to ensure the best ink output from the nozzles. , After printing every day, use a cotton swab dipped in some cleaning fluid to clean the apron of the ink-absorbing pad and the nozzle blade to keep it clean.
6. Before printing, please use visual inspection to prevent the nozzle from scratching the object. The best condition is to keep the distance between the nozzle and the object at 2 mm.
7. Ground electricity requires a wire thickness of 1.5 square meters. Use steel nails to smash into the ground to a depth of 1 meter to 1.5 meters. Do not connect the ground power with other machines.
8. When the printer works for a long time, pay attention to the ink splashed in the printing room on the surface of the nozzle bottom plate and the UV lamp to prevent the ink on the bottom plate of the printing room from dripping on the screen, and the UV lamp is not bright enough and the screen will not be cured.
9. For the water-cooled box, please make sure that it is safely grounded. It is forbidden to tilt, move or place the unit upside down. The antifreeze liquid should be drained before normal transportation to prevent liquid leakage.
The unit must be prevented from running on a horizontal surface, flat and well fixed, and never placed in a flammable or explosive place.
Please contact the manufacturer to confirm that the unit is operating in a smoothly ventilated environment. The inlet and outlet are 0.6 meters without barriers.
Make sure that the water tank is filled with water and antifreeze before starting the machine. Fill the water tank again after 1 minute of operation to prevent the unit from working abnormally due to the drop in the liquid level. Please install or repair under the guidance of professional technicians. Do not install or repair by yourself. There may be electric shock or fire hazards. The antifreeze should be replaced once a month.
